Located just a short distance from Adelaide’s CBD sits Coopers Alehouse, a result of a blended offering from beer experts, Coopers Brewing, and Gepps Cross very own local pub, the Gepps Cross Hotel.
At our core, we know our beer and how to make it as it should be. We’ve renovated our space to be the perfect place to enjoy a brew, and we’ve perfected our menu to match. We’ll bring you your favourite pub classics, enough to warm any heart. But we’ve kicked it up a notch, adding succulent steaks, fresh seafood, share plates to devour with your friends, crispy green salads and easy delicious street food.
We offer the comfort of an old school brewery, mixed with a contemporary, laid back style perfect for any occasion. Settle in for a family dinner in our bistro, or catch up with mates over a beer or two in our beer garden. We’ve got something to suit everyone.
The way all great stories start is with a challenge, and this is where our story started. In 1991, a new force was established – we challenged the norm by bringing together an Institute, a College and a School of Art, to form the University of South Australia.
Established in 2013, UniSA Sport is part of the University of South Australia and therefore operates within the University's governance and management framework.
Founded on August 5, 2013, by Ryan and Corina Smith, Smith Partners Real Estate began in a modest office and quickly expanded, moving to The Golden Grove Village Shopping Centre a year later.
Today, Smith Partners Real Estate has a second location in Prospect and specializes in sales, property management, and finance. They won the REISA Medium Agency of the Year award in 2023 and have received multiple SILVER and FINALIST accolades since 2015, highlighting their commitment to excellence in the industry.
The Eagles first fielded a team in the 1986/87 season, which was the second year of competitive Gridiron in South Australia. The Eagles burst onto the scene with a 14-12 win over the Port Adelaide Spartans. On the way to a berth in the play-offs, they scored a historic 54-0 win over the Southern Long Horns (now known as the Southern District Oilers).
During the 1990s the club struggled with a shortage of players, coaches and general support. Although they had limited on-field success, the Eagles maintained their competitive spirit and a strong sense of pride.
During the 2000s the Eagles were still one of the strongest clubs in the league for player numbers and growing strength in supporters. With their strong presence around the league, we had many of our players represent the state and Nation in the sport.
During the 2010s the Eagles joined forces with the University of South Australia, becoming the UniSA Eagles Gridiron Club. the Eagles climbed to the top of Gridiron SA with senior premierships in 2010 and 2012 and Junior Premierships in 2012 and 2014.
In 2021 the UniSA Eagles Gridiron Club beat their arch-rival Adelaide Uni Hogs in the Great Southern Bowl (35-17) to win their first championship since 2012 and ending the Hogs championship streak of 8 in a row.perform at their best.
